We are currently looking for a skilledWelder/Fabricatorto join our team and support the fabrication and assembly of custom pumping solutions. Position Summary: As a Welder/Fabricator at ProFlow Pumping Solutions, you will be responsible for fabricating structural and mechanical components used in pumping systems. This includes welding, cutting, and assembling parts based on technical drawings and project specifications. The ideal candidate is experienced, detail-oriented, and takes pride in producing high-quality, precise work. Key Responsibilities: • Perform Stick and MIG welding on various metals to fabricate and assemble parts. • Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics. • Operate fabrication tools such as grinders, saws, and drills safely and effectively. • Use precision measuring tools (tape measures, calipers, micrometers) to ensure accurate cuts and assemblies. • Conduct mechanical assembly including: • Mounting pumps, motors, and components onto baseplates. • Rough alignment of rotating equipment prior to final installation. • Perform quality checks and ensure all work meets ProFlow’s engineering and safety standards. • Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and assembly teams as needed. • Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures. Qualifications: • Minimum 3 years of experience in welding and fabrication (industrial or mechanical settings preferred). • Strong proficiency in Stick and MIG welding. • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and mechanical layouts. • Familiarity with pumps, motors, and rotating equipment is a plus. • Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. • Capable of working independently and as part of a team. • Physically fit and able to lift heavy components, work on your feet, and operate power tools.
