Welder/Fabricator - Full Time

Overview We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator. The I deal candidate will have strong background in welding and fabrication with proven experience, preferably stick welding with in a heavy machinery environment. Must be self-motivating, maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety protocols. Ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues related to fabrication. Pay based on experience. Duties • Perform MIG and TIG welding on various materials, ensuring adherence to ASME codes and standards. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to fabricate components accurately. • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters for fabrication tasks. • Conduct pipe threading, ductwork assembly, and rigging operations as needed. • Operate cranes and forklifts safely to move materials around the construction site or manufacturing facility. • Measure components using calipers and micrometers to ensure precise dimensions. • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols at all times. Qualifications • Proven experience in fabrication and welding within a construction or manufacturing environment. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. • Familiarity with various welding techniques including FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) and MIG/TIG welding processes. • Experience with machining, soldering, and assembly processes is preferred. • Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimates. • Knowledge of safety regulations related to welding operations and construction site practices. • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
