Welder/Fabricator - Per Diem Available!

Currently, CTS is reviewing resumes forWelders and Fabricators in Burlington, NC. **$150/day per diem available for qualified applicants** Job Description: • Complete projects using a gas-shielded flux-cored arc welding (FCAW-g) process in 3G. • Read blueprints and other engineering drawings. • Tack weld clips and brackets in to place prior to permanent welding. • Fabricate metal structures and components by cutting, shaping, and assembling materials using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. • Set up and operate fabrication machinery such as shears, presses, brake machines, grinders, and saws. • Inspect welds and finished products to ensure structural integrity and compliance with specifications. • Maintain welding equipment, tools, and the fabrication area in safe and working condition. • Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). • Collaborate with other fabricators, engineers, and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines. Job Requirements: • Minimum 5 years of welding and/or fabrication experience. • Must have reliable transportation. • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Comfortable with heights and in confined spaces. • Lift 50lbs without assistance. • Basic reading, writing, and math skills required. • Must pass a background check and drug screen.
