Welder/Fabricator/Fitter

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator/Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various welding techniques and fabrication processes, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and construction practices. This role involves working on-site to assemble, fabricate, and weld components according to specifications and blueprints. Duties • Perform MIG, TIG, and FCAW welding on various materials including sheet metal and pipe. • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters for fabrication tasks. • Conduct assembly of components while ensuring adherence to ASME codes & standards. • Operate cranes and forklifts safely for material handling and movement. • Execute rigging tasks for lifting heavy components as needed. • Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure accuracy. • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations. Qualifications • Proven experience in welding, fabrication, and fitting within a manufacturing or construction environment. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise. • Familiarity with ductwork installation and pipe threading techniques is preferred. • Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimates. • Experience with machining processes is a plus. • Knowledge of soldering techniques is beneficial. • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
