Welder/Fabricator/Installer Starting at $20/hr Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator/Installer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes, with the ability to read plans and schematics. This role requires hands-on experience in a construction or manufacturing environment, where attention to detail and adherence to safety standards are paramount. This role requires the willingness to work in a fabrication shop as well as in the field for installations of fencing, railing, awnings, misc. metals, etc. Responsibilities • Perform MIG, TIG, and FCAW welding on various materials including pipe and sheet metal. • Read and interpret plans, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications. • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters for fabrication tasks. • Conduct assembly of components, ensuring precision and quality in all welds and fittings. • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times. • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while meeting deadlines. • Inspect finished products for quality assurance in compliance with various codes & standards. • Organizational skills for inventory, and for tracking incoming/outgoing materials a must. Requirements • Proven experience in welding and fitting within a construction or manufacturing setting. • Familiarity with forklift/small equipment usage is preferred. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. • Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations during fabrication processes. • Experience with soldering, machining, and assembly tasks is advantageous. • Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated. • A commitment to maintaining high safety standards on the job site.
