Welder/Fabricator/Fitter

• Install pre-fabricated products at job sites. • Correctly assemble components and inspect for square, pitch angle, etc. prior to and after the final weld out in the field. • Inspect all components. Reject any that do not meet quality criteria. • Load all materials and tools you will need for that day’s jobs. • Obtain proper location and layout from Shop Foreman and/or Production Manager. • Inspect previously cut components prior to assembly. Alteration of components may be required from time to time and include, but are not limited to re-cutting parts, grinding, and buffing. • Count all pieces to make sure they are all accounted for and that the numbers match the job card. • Document all time and correct PO#’s on daily timecard. • Verify Welder Installer’s daily timecard and PO#’s. • Check all company equipment for proper operation and maintenance.
