Overview
We are seeking skilled Ironworkers to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and a passion for working with metal structures. As an Ironworker, you will be responsible for the assembly, installation, and maintenance of iron and steel components in various construction projects. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
• Assemble and erect steel structures, including beams, columns, and trusses.
• Utilize various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, FCAW, and Stick welding to join metal components.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate installation.
• Operate cranes and forklifts for lifting heavy materials safely.
• Perform fabrication tasks using hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines.
• Conduct pipe threading and ductwork installation as required.
• Ensure compliance with ASME codes & standards throughout all work processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Skills
• Proven experience on construction sites with a solid understanding of construction practices.
• Proficient in welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, and Stick welding.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate cranes, forklifts, and other heavy machinery.
• Familiarity with fabrication processes including assembly, machining, soldering, plasma cutting, and ductwork installation.
• Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers accurately.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to construction tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
