Welder/Metal Fabricator

FMB, Inc.has an opening for a full timeMetal Fabricatorto join them at theirHarrison, NJheadquarters. FMB is adding anewposition in their fabrication facility. Responsibilities of this position include: • Cut, assemble and weld metal components for stairs and railings using provided blue prints • Review completed drawings and work for errors and troubleshoot issues found • Work both independently and within a team to complete projects on a timely basis • Assist in the movement of material throughout the fabrication facility. This is a multifaceted role that will involve nearly all parts of the fabrication process from raw material to finished product. Our fabricators are moved throughout our 60,000+/- sqft facility to preform various tasks based on need as well as personnel development for each employee. FMB works on numerous projects throughout New York City which provides the opportunity to employees to experience a diverse array of high profile projects. A successful candidate must be proficient inMIG and TIG weldingfrom all positions, have experience in the fabrication of metal components, preferablyrailings and stairs,and be able toread and comprehend blue prints.
