Welder/Sheet Metal Fabricator

Job Title: Welder/Sheet Metal Fabricator Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating Amada C02 laser and Bystronic CNC press brake equipment to cut, shape, and engrave various materials on then assemble and finish weld assemblies. This position will play a crucial role in ensuring precision and quality in the manufacturing process. Responsibilities: - Set up and operate equipment according to specifications. - Monitor manufacturing process to ensure accuracy and efficiency. - Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications. - Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes. - Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times. Skills: - Bob Cad/Cam experience a plus. - Welding experience a plus. - Proficiency in operating other sheet metal machinery such as Press Brake and Sheer. - Familiarity with Forklift operation. - Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). - Experience with lathe, milling machine, and Stamping press operations. - Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers. - Strong attention to detail in assembling components. - Understanding of tooling concepts and applications. - Skill in conducting quality inspections to ensure product standards are met. Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus. - Proven experience as a sheet metal fabricator or similar role in a manufacturing environment. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. - Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately.
