Job Overview
As a Wholesale Account Director for Oak Essentials, our growing beauty brand, you will play a crucial role in driving new business growth and establishing our presence in the beauty wholesale industry. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and acquire new wholesale accounts, build strong relationships, and drive sales. You will work closely with internal teams to develop and execute sales strategies, establish partnerships, and promote our brand. This role requires exceptional entrepreneurial spirit, strong sales skills, and a deep understanding of the beauty industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential wholesale accounts, target markets, and product opportunities within the beauty industry.
  • Proactively reach out to prospects, make cold calls, and conduct sales presentations to introduce our company, products, and services.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to acquire new beauty wholesale accounts, focusing on meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Identify key decision-makers, build relationships, and negotiate terms and contracts with potential accounts.

Relationship Building:

  • Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in the beauty industry, such as retailers, distributors, and beauty professionals.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to connect with potential clients, understand their needs, and promote our brand.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to gather customer feedback and insights for product enhancements and new launches.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, promptly addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests from potential accounts.

Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop sales plans, promotional strategies, and pricing models that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Conduct product training sessions and presentations to prospective wholesale accounts, showcasing the benefits and unique selling points of our products.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify sales opportunities and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Track and report sales activities, market trends, and account progress, providing regular updates to the management team.

Brand Building:

  • Represent our start-up company as a brand ambassador, consistently promoting our mission, values, and products to potential accounts.
  • Collaborate with marketing team to develop marketing materials, sales collateral, and presentations that effectively communicate our brand and offerings.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and market demands to identify opportunities for brand positioning and differentiation.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management within the beauty industry.
  • Strong knowledge of beauty products, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Β Proactive and self-motivated with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to analyze market data and customer insights to drive sales strategies.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems andΒ other relevant software applications.

The annual base salary range for this position is $110,000 - $140,000. The base salary is determined by experience, education, skills, and location.Β  In addition, this full-time position is eligible for the following company benefits:
