Window Advisor-Advisor/Installer

We are located downtown Los Angeles. Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Window Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installation, with hands-on experience in various aspects of window and door installation. Demonstrate expert knowledge of all drapery products including pleated drapes, ripplefold, grommet tops, pinch pleats, sheers, blackout linings, cornices, valances, and motorized systems. Understand fabrication methods and material capabilities for custom drapery projects. Advise on fabric selection based on drapability, durability, and flame-retardant properties Responsibilities • Install windows and doors according to specifications, ensuring proper fit and alignment. • Utilize hand tools and power tools for installation tasks, including caulking and trim carpentry. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute installations accurately. • Perform heavy lifting as required during the installation process • Collaborate with team members on construction projects, including remodeling and fixture installations. • Conduct quality checks on completed installations to ensure compliance with safety standards. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites. • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding project progress. Qualifications • Proven experience in window installation or similar construction roles. • Worked on Hospitality projects preferred • Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, or similar design software. • Familiarity with motorized control systems (Lutron, Somfy, etc.). • Knowledge of fire code requirements and NFPA 701 certification. • Bilingual (Spanish or Tagalog) is a plus. • Warm Regards, • Strong knowledge of construction estimating, fabrication, manufacturing, and assembly processes. • Familiarity with carpentry techniques including frame carpentry, cabinet installation, door hanging, and metal stud framing. • Ability to perform construction painting as needed during installations. • Experience with heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks associated with the role. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Previous maintenance person experience is a plus. • A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
