Job description At Glacier Window & Door, we pride ourselves on enhancing the beauty and efficiency of homes with top-quality window and door installation services. We are seeking an experienced Window and Door Installer to join our team and help us continue to provide exceptional workmanship and customer service. Job Summary: This position will be responsible for keeping work vehicles stocked with supplies, tools, keeping them clean and organized. Work vehicles are an essential part of our business. You'll also learn and be responsible for verifying rough opening sizes, determining, plumb, level, square for openings and windows. You'll learn and be responsible for waterproofing methods and best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, carpentry, or a related field, with a focus on window and door installation. Key Responsibilities: • Maintain a clean and organized working environment including work vehicles, tools, and areas of work at job sites. • Perform accurate measurements and assessments for installation projects. • Install various types of windows and doors according to manufacturer specifications and company standards. • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction. • Be a team player, helpful to others and learn how to anticipate what's next, think forward. • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to safety protocols. • Collaborate with Installation Leads and provide feedback. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in window and door installation. • Proven leadership skills and experience managing a team. • Strong knowledge of construction tools, materials, and best practices. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • High school diploma or equivalent; trade certification is a plus. • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. • Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
