Woodworker / Cabinet Maker / Millwork Installer

The Philadelphia Woodworking Company is looking for a full time cabinetmaker. Some experience doing high quality, professional, custom woodworking is required. We fabricate, finish and install custom cabinetry, architectural millwork and custom furniture. We produce work in a wide range of styles. You should be able to safely, efficiently and creatively operate a range of high quality industrial woodworking equipment. At a minimum, you should have a foundational understanding of the trade. Things you'll need: - A good attitude! - Woodworking/custom cabinetry fabrication and installation experience. - Organizational skills. - Good communication skills. - The ability to work independently and confidently make decisions on your own. - To be able to read and understand technical shop and architectural drawings, digitally. - To be willing and able to do millwork installation, as necessary, on job sites in and around the city of Philadelphia and it suburbs. - Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license. Things you don't need: - A bad attitude! Bonus points if you have experience with: - Finishing - CAD/CAM software - CNC operation Hourly compensation, based on experience.
