Workday Absence & Time Tracking Consultant

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Consultant you will serve as a client-facing practitioner who sells leads and implements expert services utilizing the breadth of IBM’s offerings and technologies. A successful Consultant is regarded by clients as a trusted business advisor who collaborates to provide innovative solutions used to solve the most challenging business problems.

You will work on projects that help clients integrate strategy process technology and information to increase effectiveness reduce costs and improve profit and shareholder value. You can take advantage of opportunities to master new skills work across different disciplines move into new challenges and develop a robust understanding of different industries.

Your primary responsibilities include:

• Assists clients in the design implementation and support of the Workday Absence module.
• Does not necessarily specialize exclusively on payroll compensation management absence benefits or talent (see alternative Role/Specialties).
• This specialty uses consulting skills business knowledge and packaged solution expertise to effectively implement the functionality into the client’s business environment in order to achieve client expected business results.
• This specialty includes implementation planning fit analysis facilitating design sessions to gather requirements configuration unit testing rollout and potentially post-implementation support. Consultant resolves configuration and functional business issues across the various HR modules.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• At least 3 years of Workday Core Functional and hand-on Workday experience specifically configuration
• Have exposure to configuration across 2-3 different Modules within the Absence & Time Tracking
• Ability to create and update advanced reports

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Must be with Absence and/or Time Tracking Certification
• Team Lead experience
