The Hostler Driver/Ground position at Parsec LLC.'s intermodal rail transportation department is responsible for directing the crane operators and safely and efficiently operating a hostler truck while loading and unloading cargo containers. ● Ground Person video job description:https://youtu.be/F1vctjt-nyE ● Hostler Driver video job description:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Re9NDb5MRsQ Salary ● Pay Rate- $20.89 hourly Benefits ● 401(k) ● Medical Insurance ● Dental Insurance ● Vision Insurance ● Supplemental Insurance Available ● Paid Weekly ● Paid Time Off ● Growth Opportunities Requirements ● At least 18 years old ● Valid driver’s license ● High school diploma or equivalent ● Previous experience as a hostler driver, or similar role, within the intermodal rail or transportation industry (preferred) Qualifications ● Willing and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions ● Must comply with established safety rules, policies, and procedures, including wearing required safety equipment ● Pass pre-employment checks: criminal background checks, drug screening, and physical abilities exam ● Able to lift more than 50 lbs. ● Able to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, or crawl to access equipment and maintain safety ● Must have open availability to work any needed shift and weekends. Employees are subject to a shift change every six months. The following schedules are seniority-based: • 12:00 PM-8:30 PM • 8:00 PM - 4:30 AM • 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM Once certified as a driver, mandatory overtime is assigned based on operational demand.
