candidates in these locations will be considered <br ><strong>What Youll Do<strong><br >We are looking for an exceptional attorney who is passionate about regulatory and compliance counseling and committed to advancing Calms mission of making the world a healthier and happier place As Regulatory Compliance Counsel you will dive into meaningful and missioncritical projects to ensure organizational compliance with domestic and international legal frameworks You will ensure that Calm practices privacybydesign and that its data governance framework is robust You will advise on applicable healthcare regulations and ensure that Calms products align with global consumer protection rules This role will report to the Sr Product and Regulatory Counsel and will work handinhand with crossfunctional stakeholders throughout the organization including members of the product engineering security people and operations teams<br ><p><ul><li>On a daily basis help surface scope and drive legal work streams and create processes related to ensuring compliance with domestic and international laws<li> <li>Work crossfunctionally to develop and implement privacybydesign principles<li> <li>Identify applicable laws and regulations assess compliance vulnerability and risk provide actionable advice and develop and implement action plans to mitigate potential risks<li> <li>Assist in the review and assessment of new products features and uses of data to assess compliance with laws regulations and industry best practices<li> <li>Assist with maintaining and updating consumer notices terms of service and privacy policies <li> <li>Monitor and anticipate developments in the regulatory landscape<li> <li>Create and advise on policies processes systems and internal controls necessary $166700 $233400 The base salary range represents the low and high end of Calms salary range for this position Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range Exact salary
