Job Description:
Educational RequirementsThe Contractor Representative, and any subsequent Contractor Representative provided by the Contractor, must possess, at a minimum:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field, or five (5)years equivalent work experience; and
- A minimum of seven (7) years of IT work experience with a broad range of exposure to all aspects of business planning, systems analysis, and applications development. Experience with managing team(s) and project(s) for information security management.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field, or 5 years equivalent work experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with technical and Department staff
- Experience developing and maintaining database driven web-based applications
- Experience with developing database driven applications in a Microsoft Visual Studio .NET environment with C#
- Experience with object-oriented development techniques
- Experience with 3-tier logical/physical architected applications
- Experience with Crystal Reports Server and SSRS
- Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) and Microsoft Test Manager
- A minimum of seven (7) years of IT work experience with a broad range of exposure to all aspects of business planning, systems analysis, and applications development. Experience with managing team(s) and project(s) for information security management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with .Net development using MVC
- Experience with storing data to and retrieving data from SQL Server
Applications Development Analyst Task List
- Develop n-Tier Microsoft. Net web applications using C# .Net and Visual Studio.
- Write necessary stored procedures for databases.
- Work within, and lead, a development/user team during software development.
- Perform unit and system testing to ensure system conforms to detailed requirement specifications.
- Develop test scripts to support unit testing.
- Work with business users to develop test plans to support user testing.
- Work with the OIT and the Division of Treasury to gather business requirements for software implementation.
- Implement tested and approved system modifications in accordance with the Department’s change management procedures.
- Provide maintenance, enhancements, and support for the Department’s applications as needed, including .Net applications and web services.
- Provide project leadership as directed by the Department’s Contract Manager.
- Write and provide application and project technical documentation.
- Write and develop code in Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) with comments and versioning control.
- Mentor Department staff in .Net and FileNet development skills as needed.
- Provide system analysis, design, and programming support, and/or implementation support for Division of Treasury applications.
- Transfer to OIT staff the knowledge necessary to maintain applications, including technical knowledge related to the system(s).
- Other tasks as determined by the Contract Manager.
