.NET Developer

Description

ActioNet has an immediate opportunity for a .NET Developer requiring a Secret Clearance located in Rosslyn, VA. ActioNet is an IT service provider and solutions integrator headquartered in Vienna, VA that works with the Federal Government and Department of Defense. In this role, you will be responsible for full stack development on the Windows platform with experience in Project Management and Agile methodologies. As the .NET Developer you will interact with project stakeholders and designing solutions to meet their needs. The candidate must have good time management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both stakeholders and technical staff.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate success as a software engineer designing and developing applications utilizing modern technologies and platforms. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of learning and adapting new technologies and should be proficient in many of the following:
  
  • UX Design (HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery)
  • ASP.NET (MVC, Web API, C#)
  • REST/JSON concepts
  • Database design and implementation (SQL Server, Oracle)
  • Source control such as TFS or Git
• From an agile perspective, the candidate will have experience in:
  • Working in a SCRUM environment participating in agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives
  • Reacting to change requests from customers in an effective manner
  • Manage and facilitate the Agile processes for teams

Basic Qualifications
