.NET Developer

Astor & Sanders Corporation (Astor), is an award-winning IT solutions provider headquartered in McLean, VA and is seeking a .NET Developer. This is a full-time position based and is remote.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design and implement a critical enterprise application using .NET and SQL Server in an agile environment
• Assess the current application and recommend modernizations
• Resolve complex problems that require a deep understanding of system processes
• Deployment to the AWS cloud platform
• Provide O&M bug fix support of deployed application
• Test, debug, and refine the application
• Optimize application performance
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
• At least 5+ years of experience with .NET Core and SQL Server
• Experience with .NET Frameworks, N-Tier, MVC and Entity framework.
• Experience with Design Patterns to solve Architectural problems.
• Experience with migration of legacy application (mainframe, DB2) to .NET technologies is plus
• Experience with software development life cycle using Agile methodologies.
• Experience with relational databases
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
