Position Title:

.Net Developer (w/ SharePoint administration)

The Position:

Makpar has an exciting opportunity for a .Net Developer to assist in the development and management of public-facing websites and reporting databases for our client. This role is integral to maintaining smooth daily operations and optimizing our modernized solution, including input forms, reports, and search functions. In this role you will be on site at the Washington DC office between 2 to 4 times per week.

Role Specific Duties:

• Configure and manage the SharePoint environment, including the setup of SharePoint platforms, document libraries, shared storage space, and backup procedures.
• Collaborate with the team to build, test, deploy, and maintain highly scalable web-based services using ASP.NET technology.
• Work closely with business analysts to analyze business requirements, design solutions, and document them. Engage with stakeholders and end-users to gather and analyze requirements effectively.
• Develop web applications using technologies such as .NET, C#, CSS.
• Possess knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and the ability to deploy services to the customer development environment.

Required Qualifications:

• 1+ year of professional software development experience.
• Web development experience from concept to UI and back-end implementation.
• 1+ year of in-depth working knowledge of ASP.NET Core using C#.NET, HTML5, CSS, MS SQL Server, and Identity.
• 1+ year of experience with Agile methodology and eXtreme Programming best practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD), CI/CD, and pair programming.
• 1+ years of experience in Microsoft SQL and SSRS (SQL Server Rep
• 1+ year of experience in SharePoint administration is a plus.
• Experience or knowledge of Microsoft Azure DevOps Server.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Microsoft Windows Server and IIS management is a plus.
• Experience or knowledge of building interfaces in compliance with Section 508, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), and Web Accessibility Initiative - Accessible Rich Internet Applications (WAI-ARIA) standards.
• Experience with a distributed version control system like GIT and SVN.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration and experience with Azure DevOps Server for automated builds.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Candidates must be a US Citizen or a Legal Permanent Resident (Green Card status) for 3 years and be Federal Tax compliant.
