Department Overview

Our Applied Technology organization puts some of Motorola Solutions' brightest minds on unique, highly challenging projects. Based on decades of experience with our customers, we apply leading-edge technologies to support security and safety throughout the world. We engineer our products from start to finish and manufacture them in-house. We're known for low volume and high capability with focused specialization in areas including software-defined radios, advanced antenna solutions, artificial intelligence and machine learning, cybersecurity, signals intelligence and more. Job Description

We are looking for ambitious Full Stack .NET developer candidates with strong backgrounds in web development and database design. You will be expected to work with business stakeholders to capture requirements, design and develop the systems, perform system validation, develop and administer training and provide system maintenance. You will work with a wide range of technologies and systems to contribute to the best possible experience for our users.

What we are looking for: 

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contract

• 3+ years experience with Microsoft .NET Framework/.NET Core

• 3+ years experience with relational databases, preferably Microsoft SQL Server

• Ability to build relationships with business and technology stakeholders.

• Ability to capture and deliver on key stakeholder requirements throughout design, development, validation, technical documentation, training and maintenance.

• Modeling and design skills applying to databases, applications, infrastructures and security models.

• Strong communication and coordination skills.

• Solid web programming skills; preferably with C# or VB.NET, JavaScript, HTML, CSS

• Experience with modern web frameworks, client and server side such as Angular, React, ASP.NET Core

• Experience with unit testing

• Working knowledge of source control software, preferably Git

• Working knowledge of Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD)

• Working knowledge of web server software such as IIS, Apache

• Extra points for experience with TypeScript, ECMAScript 2015/ES6, ASP.NET MVC, Apache, IIS, writing secure code (OWASP), Performance Monitoring, VBA, Linux, Deltek Costpoint, Aras Innovator, and/or Cognos BI.

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science or related field

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contract
