Job Description
Location: Richmond, VA - candidates within 50 miles only
Hybrid, 100% onsite for the 1st month and then 4 days per week onsite.
Contract Length: 6 months with extension likely
Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will have 7 years of progressive IT experience, including 3 years of enterprise-wide integration architecture in a .NET environment. The role involves designing and developing scalable, high-performing web-based applications, leveraging modern technologies, cloud-based solutions, and secure coding practices while collaborating with cross-functional teams and aligning projects with strategic goals.
Required Skills:
- 10 years of progressive responsibility in a .NET development environment
- 7 years of demonstrated technical knowledge which provides the necessary skills, knowledge and abilities
- 3 years relevant experience with enterprise-wide INTEGRATION architecture in .NET environment required
- Strong knowledge of OOAD and multi-tier architectures, and application of architectural design patterns for solution.
- 7 years of experience designing, developing and maintaining large scale, high performing, high transactional systems in .NET.
- 7 years of expertise in C# programming language.
- 7 years of experience creating diagrams and documenting designs and requirements.
- Strong communication and written skills. Ability to work out differences of opinions and publish scalable and quality system design specifications
- Ability to work as a collaborative member of a team while also being comfortable in leading a work initiative when directed to do so.
- Ability to set strategic architectural direction in integration technologies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with presentation experience.
- Design and architect business applications.
- 7 years of experience designing and developing low-level environments and production environments to support the Software development cycle.
- 3 years of experience designing and architecting Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions using AD, Microsoft application servers, and Azure.
- 7 years of experience writing policy and standards as needed to sustain company compliance with regulatory changes
- 7 years of experience guiding project teams with the implementations consistent with company policies and practices
- Deep knowledge in service-oriented architecture frameworks, standards and tools.
Duties:
- Design and architect Identity and Access Management (IAM) solution using AD, Microsoft application servers and Azure
- Design and develop low level environment and production environment to support Software development cycle
- Guide project teams with the implementations consistent with company policies and practices
- Align projects with business and IT strategy to help projects sustain alignment with company policy's and standards
- Write policy and standards as needed to sustain company compliance with regulatory changes
- Work with development and QA teams to ensure the use of secure coding practices and verification methods
- Development of product roadmaps and align efforts to meet security goals
