Job Description

What is the opportunity?

We are looking for a .NET developer to revamp and eventually overhaul an application used by our enterprise IAM and security team using languages and technologies of the .NET framework. In this role, you should be able to write functional code with a sharp eye for spotting defects. Along with being a team player and excellent communicator.

What will you do?

• Utilizing Microsoft's .NET infrastructure to create software solutions that meet project requirements.
• Collaborating with coworkers to facilitate the creation of large, complex developments, as required.
• Reformulating existing code to ensure adherence to stipulated guidelines.
• Checking your code to detect and remedy errors and omissions.
• Testing your outputs to ensure that they are in excellent working order.
• Ensuring that outputs are visually appealing, user-friendly, and engaging.
• Deploying developments and monitoring uptake by the target audience.
• Using clients' feedback to inform the creation of subsequent versions of each development and remaining abreast of coding and technological changes that will impact your work.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• Associate Degree in web design, software engineering, or similar
• MCSD or MCPD certification will be highly advantageous
• In-depth knowledge of .NET infrastructure
• Advanced proficiency in C#
• Proficient in ASP.NET and SQL

Nice-to-have

• Experience in the financial/wealth management industry
• Different Implementation methodologies: Agile, ASAP, RUP, Waterfall
• Familiarity with Active Directory, JavaScript and CI/CD Tools
• Server and network administration (both concept and practical) in Either windows or Unix
