Xactware is the leading software solutions provider and services for property claims and underwriting professionals. Its newest division, Property Solutions, is aggressively working to create new mobile and online solutions for foreclosure, remodeling, and real estate professionals.

We are looking for full-stack software engineers with experience in delivering SaaS applications. As part of a small agile development team, you will significantly influence our strategy and shape the future of the product by defining product features and system architecture. We want to talk to you if you know how to deliver quality products and eagerly seek to delight customers.

• Help design and implement the overall architecture of the project
• Work as part of an agile team to design and launch new features
• Maintain application quality and ensure responsiveness
• Continuously help the team to improve by being actively involved in team meetings and ceremonies (architecture, refinements, retrospectives, demos, standups, etc.…)

Required experience:

• Angular, React, or other frontend web development framework
• C# or other backend development language
• Communication protocols: HTTP, RESTful APIs
• Mongo DB, DynamoDB, or other NoSQL databases
• Exposure and experience with AWS, specifically:
  • Lambda
  • S3
  • CloudFormation
  • IAM
• Exposure to microservices architecture
• Exposure to distributed systems methods and practices
• Exposure to continuous integration and deployment methods and practices
• Exposure to automated testing and software verification (unit, integration, E2E)
• Ability to learn quickly, teach oneself, and adapt to new technologies and opportunities
• Desire to be a part of a fast-moving agile team
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small-group situations

Qualifications

Not required, but highly suggested experience:

• AWS AppSync/GraphQL
• Native iOS or Android
• Cross-platform mobile framework, e.g., ReactNative, Flutter, NativeScript

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working on web/mobile applications
• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering from a four-year college or university with a minimum 3.0 GPA
