.Net Developer (Remote Opportunity)

VetsEZ is seeking a talented .Net Developer to join our remote team and support the Department of Veterans Affairs. This role is part of the Data Migration and Syndication effort within the Electronic Health Record Modernization Integration Office (EHRM-IO).

The candidates must reside within the continental US.

Responsibilities:

• Develop software plans and strategies, ensuring quality control and risk mitigation throughout the development process.
• Collaborate with EHRM Architects to identify and implement necessary features for metadata and change management.
• Design, code, and test applications using tools such as .NET Core, ASP.NET, MVC, Angular, SOAP/REST APIs, and more.
• Manage and interact with databases, handling metadata, design, indexing, and troubleshooting.
• Document code and store it in centralized repositories like MS SharePoint.
• Conduct integration and performance testing, ensuring secure environment setup.
• Maintain, update, and deploy applications, collaborating with teams to resolve issues and implement new technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with tools such as GitHub, Azure DevOps, SQL, Python, JavaScript, and IIS.
• Prior experience with VA or federal organizations, and data migration/syndication is desirable.
• Ability to obtain a government security clearance.
