RAPP Mauritius is looking for a .Net Engineer to join our award-winning team.

RAPP is an integral part of Omnicom’s Precision Marketing Group, comprising 4,000 creatives, technologists, strategists, and data and marketing scientists across 40 global markets.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Actively participate in the entire software development life cycle (SDLC), focusing on coding with quality and debugging

· Produce technical specifications and determine operational feasibility based on client requirements

· Write code and tests, build prototypes, resolve issues, and profile and analyse bottlenecks(with code quality standards)

· Design robust APIs to support client’s needs

· Monitoring server performance, capacity, and security issues to ensure optimal performance of scalable distributed systems in the cloud

· Develop automated tests to ensure business needs are met, and allow for regression testing

· Document and maintain software functionality

· Follow and investigate on emerging technologies

· Continually updating technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and external courses, reading manuals and accessing new applications.

· Take ownership of software development tasks, and able to drive topics and calls with external parties/clients.

· Experience with coaching and mentoring other developers.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

· 3 to 8 years of experience

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or related field

· Hands on experience with programming languages C#, SQL and Cloud technology(Azure or AWS)

· APIs/Frameworks/Libraries: MVC

· Databases: MS SQL Server 2018, 2022

· Web Technologies: C#, ASP.NET Core, NodeJS

· Tools/IDE: Visual Studio .NET 2019, 2022

· Excellent analytical and time management skills

· Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude

· Focus on efficiency, user experience, and process improvement
