.NET Engineer/Developer
Job Description
Harris Health Alliance, a business unit of Harris Computer, is looking for a talented .NET Engineer/Developer on a permanent remote-working basis. The .NET Engineer/Developer will possess a knowledge of scalable APIs built within modern architecture and Windows Presentation Framework who cares about writing clean, maintainable, and testable code.
THE ROLE:
In performing this role your core duties and responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
- Building innovative products and deliverables that meet the business and customer requirements with a strong focus on improving patient care within the Health Market.
- Provide customers service by delivering quality product by providing clean, efficient, and maintainable code using C# and the .NET framework.
- Support the operation of live service by debugging and troubleshooting issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Work together with our extensive customer base to gather requirements;
- Collaborate with other team members to develop and maintain documentation. e.g. design specifications;
- System design, unit testing, coding and delivery.

- Has their own transport / driving license
- Preferably you have a degree with IT/scientific content or equivalent professional certification, but not mandatory.
Your Skills:
- Language: .NET 8 C#, ASP.NET, WPF, HTML, JavaScript, CSS
- Data serialisation languages: e.g., XML, JSON, YAML
- Relational Databases: PostgreSQL, SQL Server
- Technical Documentation writing
- Experience of working within a Quality System
- Experience of High Availability architectures
- Cloud based deployments
- Continuous Delivery e.g., Kubernetes, Docker
- Understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles and practices
- Software Testing Frameworks: e.g., NUnit, TestNg, Moq, Selenium
- ORM Frameworks: Entity Framework
- Microservice Architectures and development
- MSI Packaging
- Experience of other programming and scripting languages
- Knowledge/experience of deploying to and/or managing cloud service environments, e.g., Microsoft Azure
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies
