.NET Engineering Manager

As our Engineering Manager, you will lead our backend development team and help take our new sportsbook product to market!

• Lead and grow the engineers on your team as they confront both technical and career issues by managing their work, resolving disputes, coordinating efforts and providing coaching in C# and .NET best practices
• Assist in the design and develop clean, well-structured, and maintainable code to build new backend features for our sportsbook product
• Build a diverse team while encouraging a collaborative and inclusive environment
• Develop a deep understanding of our product infrastructure and how we deploy our software
• Collaborate with the team and product manager from conception to execution, openly communicating issues, asking clarifying questions, raising concerns when needed

• Passionate about software development, with fluency in C# and familiarity with .NET Core
• Experience (at least one year) in managing a team of software engineers (3 or more)
• Experience building highly scalable, available distributed systems to handle high traffic conditions with low latency
• Interest in leveraging cutting edge technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, and an excitement for designing and building new infrastructure features
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem solving skills with both engineers and product
• High level of accountability, bias to action and a desire to empower individuals on the team to perform at their best

• Experience leading a team in a cross-Atlantic remote-first environment
• Experience working with product managers in gathering requirements, investigating technical needs and creating designs that fit within project timelines
• Experience in gaming/sports
• Proficiency working in GCP or other cloud infrastructures like AWS or Azure
• Understanding of CI/CD, unit testing, integration testing
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL
• Experience with Microservices
• Experience with REST services

Our targeted compensation rate for this position is between $150,000 and $240,000, depending on experience, plus equity. Below you’ll find a few of our perks:
