.Net Platform Architect

Description

Cognizant is looking for a .Net Platform Architect in developing customized product for our clients. The role is expected to drive technology discussions and analyze the current landscape for gaps in addressing business needs. Cognizant needs a motivated individual to challenge the status quo and provide thought leadership/best practices to enhance our current services and technologies.

An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a fast paced, collaborative environment. Someone that values the "team" and leverages the opinions and expertise of their teammates to deliver quality.

Responsibility:

• Create solutions addressing high impact technology and business priorities.
• Competent in multiple contexts, including .net programming, Linux, security, automation, testing, cloud.
• Participate in strategic technology decisions and learn how these decisions impact overall program.
• Proactively identify and mitigate issues and coach other architects and developers.
• Experienced as part of an Agile engineering or development team.
• Experienced with application development and DevOps best practices.
• Experienced working with a relational database and NoSQL database.
• Experienced with CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or similar; Git/GitHub.
