.NET Programmer

Location: Richmond, VA - Must be located within 50 miles
Position Type: Hybrid, 3 days per week onsite
Contract Length: 1 year
Position Overview:
The .NET programmer will develop and maintain web and Windows applications to support staff. This role requires expertise in C#, .NET Framework & Core, MVC, Web Forms, SQL, Git, and JavaScript, with bonus consideration for experience in Jira, Azure DevOps, application security, and responsive design practices.
Required Skills:

• 5 years of experience programming in C#;
• 5 years of experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core.
• 5 years of experience with MVC and Web Forms applications;
• 5 years of experience with web services;
• 5 years of experience with Windows Service development;
• 5 years of experience with JavaScript including jQuery or other JavaScript libraries;
• 5 years of experience with HTML and CSS;
• 5 years of experience with mobile and responsive design practices;
• 5 years of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server databases;
• 5 years of experience with the Transact SQL language;
• 5 years of experience with Git SCM;
• 5 years of experience with Jira and Azure DevOps;
• 5 years of knowledge of application security

Duties:

• Build, enhance, and troubleshoot web and Windows applications using C#, .NET Framework & Core, MVC, and Web Forms to meet the needs of internal staff and external constituents.
• Work closely with staff to deliver high-quality solutions while adhering to project timelines.
• Design, optimize, and manage SQL databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Utilize Git for source control and collaborate on development workflows using tools like Jira and Azure DevOps.
• Implement best practices in application security and follow mobile and responsive design methodologies to create secure, user-friendly applications
