Detroit Labs OnSite Business Unit is looking for an experienced .NET Developer to join an exciting project with a multinational chemical company using chemistry to create a more sustainable future. This project involves coding within an existing application as well as contributing to brand-new development. As a .NET developer, you will have the opportunity to develop new innovative product features, add functionality, and find ways to improve our clients existing code bases. On an average day you will work together with your teammates to build, review, debug, and learn from each other's code. You will also help to estimate features, to successfully fulfill development commitments.

Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years experience in software engineering/development
- 3+ years of back-end experience with the .NET framework
- Quality-focused, with a software development style that incorporates unit testing or TDD, continuous integration, or other development practices to create software that is high quality and maintainable over time
- Experience designing, creating, and consuming RESTful APIs
- Experience constructing, developing, and implementing microservices
- Experience working with distributed enterprise and database systems
- Experience with developing and deploying to cloud platforms, such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft Azure
- Detroit Labs is not currently able to hire candidates who will reside outside of the United States during their term of employment.
Responsibilities
- Work with other engineers, developers, & QA to create efficient scalable code solutions
- Understand requirements, implement solutions, provide administration tools and documentation for specific projects
- Participate in design and code reviews
- Follow and enhance existing development processes
- Provide accurate estimates, regular feedback, and meet project deadlines

- The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $120,000, commensurate with experience
