.NET Software Developer - Remote

Detroit Labs OnSite Business Unit is looking for a .NET/C# software developer to assist in an e-commerce application. You will develop custom solutions within an existing application framework. In this role, you will code, test, document, and deploy solutions while working closely with DevOps. You will work with existing applications as well as brand new development and maintain code quality throughout both.

Requirements

• 5 years of back-end experience with .NET/C#
• 2 years experience using Angular 9+
• Quality-focused, with a software development style that incorporates unit testing or TDD, continuous integration, or other development practices to create software that is high quality and maintainable over time
• Experience working with a DevOps team, and fluent in Agile and Scrum
• Experience with API development in .NET Core, and Node.js
• Experience with architecting infrastructure
• Experience managing applications in an Azure DevOps environment
• Experience with infrastructure as code and Terraform on Microsoft Azure
• Experience constructing, developing, and implementing microservices

Responsibilities

• Work with other engineers, developers, DevOps, and QA to create efficient scalable code solutions
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers by providing support, knowledge, and leadership
• Understand requirements, implement solutions, provide administration tools and documentation
• Integrate frontend with API and microservices followed by deploying on a Microsoft Azure infrastructure
• Work with the DevOps team to build and support complex applications
• Develop custom solutions within an existing application framework
• Debug, test, and correct code issues
• Design, code, test, document, deploy, and support cloud-based architecture as well as cloud-native solutions
• Follow and enhance existing development processes
• Provide accurate estimates, regular feedback, and meet project deadlines
