.NET Software Engineer

You are physically based in geographic Europe. (This includes both EU and non-EU countries in Europe.)

Our mission is to make XR accessible with one click. We are looking for a open-minded and passionate .NET engineer (remote) to complement our distributed team.

As a .NET engineer at Innoactive and part of our product development team, you'll play a critical role in the development of (Windows) desktop and web applications that enable users to access XR content with one click – either remotely rendered and streamed from the cloud to any device or rendered locally on the user’s workstation. You’ll be responsible for designing and implementing features for the .NET-based desktop client application as well as the capturing and streaming application. In your work, you'll closely collaborate with our backend and frontend engineers to evolve the back-end services (Python and Django, .NET Core) of our platform as required. You’ll jointly work with a team of polyglot developers with backgrounds in the DevOps, Backend and Frontend space and be responsible for delivering high-quality software products in a cutting-edge technological environment. • Develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions.
• Take (technical) ownership of one or several software components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, efficient and well-tested code.
• Participate in code and design reviews to maintain and enhance code quality.
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends.
• Shape our client applications and stop at nothing to reach the highest possible performance, quality and responsiveness.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation – we’re all responsible for a quality product.
• Work together with the team to continuously improve software development processes and practices.
• Work on both Windows desktop applications using .NET Framework / Core and web applications with ASP.NET (Core).

• 5+ years of experience in .NET development, ideally both with .NET Framework and .NET Core.
• Expert knowledge with C#/.NET.
• Solid understanding of Windows desktop application development.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proven experience in delivering high-quality software products.
• Willingness to revolutionize Innoactive’s core with a fearless start-up mindset.
• Experience participating in a continuous release workflow, including hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.

• Work experience within the XR/RT3D software industry.
• Experience in working with Android.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Knowledge of Unity or Unreal Engine, ideally in the context of VR, AR or real-time 3D applications.
• A background in C++ development.
• Familiarity with Win32 APIs and Nvidia’s NVENC encoder.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
• Understanding of enterprise IT landscapes.
