DUTIES: Provide technical leadership within a team responsible for developing and ensuring the efficient operation of DevOps tools, servers, and databases used to support the Xfinity Mobile Back Office Data Platform; develop business solutions for applications that run on Linux and Windows operating systems; perform shell scripting; develop software using Jenkins; work with secure file transfer protocols (SFTPs) and Amazon Web Services (AWS); deploy and run applications using Big Data technologies, including Docker, Ansible, and Hadoop; interact with Architects, Business Owners, 3rd party vendors and, Peer DevOps teams to gather and analyze requirements; support defect analysis and resolution throughout the Software Development Lifecyle (SDLC); participate in writing and executing integration and system test procedures; create technical documentation, including user instructions, software and hardware requirements, program input and outputs, and execution and installation steps; provide final escalation and on-call production support for developed applications; and guide and mentor junior-level engineers.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, and five (5) years of experience developing business solutions for applications that run on Linux and Windows operating systems; performing shell scripting; developing software using Jenkins; working with secure file transfer protocols (SFTPs) and AWS; and deploying and running applications using Docker, Ansible, and Hadoop
