Position Requirements:
• Ability to work Monday-Friday, 8 hours/day. Occasional on-duty weekends (calls paid minimum of 2 hours at double time)
• Install and anchor new equipment for security purposes. Security, camera, fire alarm and access control installation, integration, networking, programming, service, and inspections principally in the field
• Operate a variety of equipment, tools, and machines
• Technicians are responsible for day-to-day operations on the job site and include staging and performing daily work and communicating project status to Field Supervisors.
• Operate a company vehicle to obtain parts and drive to various locations to perform work.
• Perform related duties as assigned. Ensure that the company runs with legality and conformity to established regulations
• On-call service rotation as needed
• Provide guidance and field training to apprentice technicians.
• Ability to lead crews of other installers
Initial Qualifications:
- Education and Experience: High School or equivalent certification from a college or technical school or completion of a trade school apprenticeship program
- Active 06 License with WA Department Labor % Industries
- Minimum three (3) years' experience
- Washington State Driver’s License and proven good driving record
- Reliable transportation is required
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Working Conditions:
• Methods, materials, tools, and equipment for electrical systems
• Applicable laws, codes, rules, and regulations
• Follow Appropriate safety precautions and procedures
• Record-keeping techniques
• Maintain tools and equipment in clean working condition.
• Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.
• Observe legal and defensive driving practices with a valid driver license
• Team player and dependable
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $42.00 - $48.00 per hour
