Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the NAF Accounting Office. This is a regular, full-time position (35-40 hours per week) Learn more about this agency Duties Serves as the focal point for squadron property management, ensuring property control and disposal processes are consistent with guidance. Provides logistics guidance, training and assistance for activities in organizing and controlling all property items and maintaining accurate asset listings. Establishes and conducts annual property inventories, ensuring items are properly labeled and marked. Reviews and coordinate on capital requirements budgets, purchase requests and all five-year capital requirements to ensure proper fund source. Manages and coordinates with activity managers and buyers on items submitted to government liquidators for resale. Manages and monitors reports of survey and inquiries and investigations. Vehicle Control Officer and focal point for vehicle support requirements. Ensures vehicle maintenance and inspections are performed and documented. Conducts training to instruct personnel on proper use, operations and safety aspects of vehicles assigned. Reports and processes vehicle accidents and insurance claims. Qualifying Experience: Must have experience that shows progressively administrative or technical work which as provided knowledge of supply and property management. Must possess knowledge and experience in vehicle management. Must possess computer skills, spreadsheet analysis, and data base creation. Knowledge of commonly used budgetary methods, practices, procedures, regulation and processes is highly desirable, must be able to enter, correct and retrieve recurring reports and to structure and retrieve specialized reports. Typing skills are required. Ability to communicate in English both orally and in writing. Education This position does not allow for education substitution. Additional information Individual must fully meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
