Job Description
Project Starline is working on the next wave of machine learning (AI) driven telecommunication devices, that enable co-presence through 3D displays, face tracking, machine learning, and multi-capture camera with cloud based rendering and teleportation capabilities that transport users across the globe.
We are looking for those experienced with systems testing in the telecommunications and/or video conferencing space.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and organize software testing team, ensuring all release deliverables are met on time.
- Organize and execute on test strategy and plans provided by program management.
- Manage transformation of PRD's and new features into test cases to maximize test coverage.
- Represent QA team at release meetings with critical data that impacts gating decisions.
- Improve existing software testing processes and methodologies.
- Drive critical bugs to closure, to quickly unblock releases.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in test planning and, test strategy development.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Test Automation in at least one programming language.
- Adept at troubleshooting complex systems integration issues through log analysis.
- Proficient with Linux and/or mobile architecture with hands-on command-line experience.
- Experience with Python and Bash are a preferred.
- Proficient with defect tracking tools, defect management and release triage methodologies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment.
Bonus Qualifications:
- Cloud experience - leading test engineering efforts from planning, execution, and delivery for cloud-based applications.
- Experience working with test automation teams to identify and prioritize test cases which can and should be automated.
- Ability to organize and classify test execution strategies for efficiency.
