**Physician Assistant Orthopedic-Spine opening in Illinois** Full-time, permanent placement Job Details: -Full time, Physician Assistant needed to join fast growing orthopedic spine practice in Peoria, IL. -In this role the PA will be responsible for the care of patients with a variety of spinal disorders. -Responsibilities will include the assessment of patients in the outpatient setting, inpatient consultation, assisting in the operating room, for independent small procedures and clinic, and post-operative follow up. -The candidate will have a large role in the clinic including seeing new patents, diagnosing and beginning initial treatments, performing history and physicals to clear patients for surgery, treating chronic pain patients with medication management, performing in office procedures such as trigger point injections, occipital nerve blocks, shoulder/knee injections and small joint injections. - Standard schedule: 8:00am 5:00pm, Monday Friday - Occasional time beyond 5:00 pm may be required based on surgery schedules - No office hours on weekends - On-call rotation - Based at the main clinic in Peoria, IL with regular clinic days at the satellite office in Marion, IL (Travel provided via air) - Excellent based salary - Bonus compensation plan - Relocation allowance - Stipends for CME - Licensure and malpractice coverage - Full health, dental, vision and 401(k) Location: Peoria, IL Chicago 150m; STL 106m Additional Information: - Specialty: Nurse Practitioner - Location: Peoria, Illinois - Contact: Jeremy Baldi About the Company: Archway Physician Recruitment is a national contingency placement firm assisting hospitals and medical groups with their placement needs.
