Summary This position is located at Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation Fund in Detroit Arsenal, MI. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Duties Works under the supervision of the activity manager who makes specific assignments, explains polices and procedures, and reviews work for quantity and quality of completed projects. Maintains schedules for maintenance and/or repair of physical facility. Manages data and prepares, tracks, and adjusts work orders for maintenance which cannot be completed by self-help. Conducts surveillance of total facility and reports any unusual findings to supervisor. Conducts liaison with facility supervisors, and serves as customer services point of contact. Opens/closes facility by locking/unlocking doors and windows, and assuring security system is operable. Prepares, maintains, and monitors requirement lists and inventories for supplies and equipment in the facilities. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of employment Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required. Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. A one-year probationary period may be required. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check. A physical is required. Must have and retain a valid driver's license. Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2. Incumbent may also required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities. Qualifications Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: 1.Demonstrated ability to perform the duties described above. 2. Experience in performing basic facility maintenance and minor repairs. 3. Must have and retain a valid driver's license. 4. Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. Education This job does not have an education qualification requirement. Allowances and Differentials This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
