Locums Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

We are seeking a Locums Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide coverage in a fast-paced emergency department located in St. Johns, MI. The ideal candidate will have experience in emergency care, be comfortable working with a diverse patient population, and possess the ability to function efficiently in a Level IV trauma center.This role involves working two shifts per week, from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM. On average, the emergency department sees around 45 patients in a 24-hour period, with 5 to 7 patients admitted to the hospital each day. Additionally, approximately 70% of the emergency department's patients are transferred each month. The department consists of 10 beds and does not have a fast track option. The patient population includes individuals of all ages, ensuring a broad range of clinical cases. Requirements:  Current ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications. Active Michigan license. Previous emergency department experience preferred. Ability to manage a diverse range of emergency cases.
