Summary
This position is located at the Camp Casey Golf Course in Tongduchon, South Korea.
This is a temporary position. Employment in this position will not exceed 1 year.

Duties
Operate heavy powered equipment performing tasks that require prior work experience and training.
Powered equipment tasks include ground maintenance on grades and slopes, digging ditches and trenches, washing buildings using high pressure sprayers, operating tillers to prepare lawns for sod and bedding plants, and cutting trees.
Performs general maintenance of NAF facilities requiring use of heavy powered equipment and heavy tools.
Breaks up concrete, mixes and pours concrete and asphalt. Resets nails, replaces hardware, relocate playgrounds, flowerbeds and portable structures.
Advises facility director of potential safety hazards and identifies repairs required.

Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
A one-year probationary period may be required.
Satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.
Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
Must be able to frequently lift and carry very heavy objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds.
Incumbent may be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

A qualified candidate must possess the following:
Six (6) months of laboring experience required. Must be able to work under general supervision, responding to initial oral or written instructions and completing assigned tasks.

Area of Consideration
This job is open to candidates who are in the Commuting Area of Camp Casey only. (Spouse Employment Preference (SEP), and Family Member Preference (FMP) eligible candidates are included in the area of consideration.)

PCS Costs
Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
Allowances and Differentials
This job falls under the Federal Wage Schedule (FWS) pay system. FWS employees earn overtime pay for working more than 8 hours in a day or more than 40 hours in a week - whichever gives the employee more benefit. Regular full-time, regular part-time, and regularly scheduled flexible employees may receive Sunday premium pay for working on Sundays. Employees may also be eligible to receive extra pay if the majority of their scheduled hours falls after 3:00 PM.
Foreign overseas allowances, post allowance, and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
