We are looking for a Test Manager to join our team in San Diego, CA, United States.

Job Description:

Must Have:

• In-depth knowledge of quality assurance processes, standards, and best practices.
• Experience in creating and maintaining Test Strategies, Test plans, and Test Suites.
• Strong enough exposure to automation and non-functional concepts to work with relevant capability teams on expected test coverage, entry and exit criteria and risk assessment.
• Great leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Expected to clearly and effectively convey issues and ideas to team members, management, and customers.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, waterfall and Agile methodologies
• Experience with test management and defect management software (TestRail and JIRA or close comparable)
• Able to prioritize, manage and track multiple activities and tasks at a rapid pace.
• Hands on experience with API testing
• Proficiency in identifying and mitigating testing risks, including dependencies, resource constraints, technical challenges, and external factors, to ensure successful project delivery.
• Familiarity with concepts of digital transformation and willingness to support organizational transformation activities where possible.
• 8+ years of hands-on QA experience
• Minimum education of a bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Openness to short term travel for witness testing support if needed

Responsibilities:

• Defining the scope of testing within the context of each release / delivery
• Organizing and controlling testing processes (test strategy and test planning)
• Applying the appropriate test measurements and metrics in the product and the testing team
• Ensuring visibility, traceability, and control of testing process to deliver high-quality software
• Planning, deploying and managing the testing effort for any given engagement
• Successfully execute test delivery and provide feedback and escalate issues accordingly
• Lead client meetings and work closely with onshore and offshore leads, PMO, and stakeholders.
• Promote a culture where teams are empowered to take responsibility
• Identify opportunities for transformation and optimization within scope and work with transformation leaders to implement changes.
