Locums Endocrinologist Physician

Immediate need for a highly qualified Endocrinologist Physician for a locum tenens position in Pueblo, CO. This role is exclusively outpatient with a focus on endocrine disorders, operating Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. There are no call or weekend responsibilities, providing a balanced and manageable work schedule.  Physician will provide specialized care to adult patients with endocrine disorders in an outpatient clinic setting. Diagnose and treat a range of endocrine conditions including diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, adrenal and pituitary disorders, and other hormonal imbalances. Manage an average caseload of 12-16 patients per day, ensuring thorough assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up.Qualifications:Board Certification in Endocrinology and Internal Medicine.Active Colorado state medical license or eligibility for the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.COVID-19 vaccination in compliance with health regulations and facility requirements.Proficiency with EPIC EMR is preferred.Pueblo, CO, offers a unique blend of historical significance, cultural diversity, and outdoor recreational opportunities, making it a vibrant and appealing place to live and visit.
