Job Description
Summary
This position is located in the Chief Information Officer Organization (CIOO), Office of the Chief Information Security Officer, Security Engineering and Architecture Section of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and is responsible for implementing IT and cybersecurity projects, planning and policy management.

Duties
Lead the integration of the ICAM (Identity, Credential, and Access Management) elements into other program areas, and assesses impacts and security of solutions developed to address integration/interoperability issues.
Establish and maintain a secure and consolidated ICAM roadmap ensuring it aligns to corporate strategy and that all the related initiatives are defined and secure from Cyber threats,
Develop policies and procedures to ensure information systems reliability and accessibility, and to prevent and defend against unauthorized access to systems, networks, and data.
Manage the ICAM program to ensure information systems, network, and data users are aware of, understand, and adhere to systems security policies and procedures.
Perform regular briefings to the Senior Leadership Team where the scope, progress, and timelines of the project are conveyed.
Analyze and evaluate work concerned with streaming ICAM governance and program management within service lines.
Recommend information assurance measures that protect and defend information and information systems by ensuring their availability, integrity, authentication, confidentiality, and non-repudiation.

Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g. Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. To qualify for the CG-15: Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the CG-14 level in the federal service which includes experience implementing policies, identifying, and addressing technical gaps, and recommending solutions related to Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) functions and applying cybersecurity prinicples to safeguard systems and data.
You must have Information Technology (IT)-related experience which demonstrates proficiency in each of the following competencies:

Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.

Salary reflects a pay cap for this position of $257,500.
