It is a 466-bed Level 1 Trauma Center that was established in 1972. The hospital went through a recent renovation, which included expanding their ED and adding 4 additional Trauma bays. It also boasts a 32-bed Medical Surgical Trauma ICU along with a 10-bed Trauma Stepdown Unit.
