Endocrine Hospitalist NP/PA position in southeast MA on RI border and near Cape Cod

Endocrinology inpatient Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant position available in the SE area of Massachusetts - 20 min from Providence, RI, 1 hour from Boston, 30 min from Cape Cod Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) Inpatient Hospitalist team Full time day shift position - 7a-7p - 7on 7off, splitting holidays with other providers Night call is extremely light and is rotated weekly Area of MA has a disproportionate prevalence of diabetes compared to the rest of MA Evaluations of new and established diabetic patients, diabetic teaching, initiation or oral/insulin therapy, management of hyperglycemic states, management of DKA and hyperosmolar states, management of peri-operative blood sugars, and consultation about thyroid conditions.  Supervised by physicians, one hospital, alternating weeks with another experienced APP EMR used is eClinicalworks in clinic Salary based on exp with generous benefits, periodic performance reviews for productivity bonuses and annual salary increases New grads completing strongly interested in Endocrinology welcome Please refer to Job ID#4962.
