Salary: $114,000 - $162,000

• This position is for the Division of Vascular Surgery in Kingston. The Physician Assistant (PA) is a credentialed position required to function in and practice in an expanded capacity. The PA is responsible for assessing and managing patients, including ordering diagnostic tests, consultations, therapeutic interventions and the daily implementation and evaluation of an appropriate care plan. Provides comprehensive healthcare sensitive to the needs of the population, including assessment, diagnosing, prescribing, and referrals where appropriate. Enabling patient choice in provision of care, complementing roles of MD and multidisciplinary team. The PA augments a physician's ability to provide medical services to patients; collect and document data, conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, order and schedule laboratory studies and professional consultations and provide direct patient care services. The Advanced Practitioner will also be instrumental in continued care after a spectrum of treatments, including wound management, minimally invasive procedures, endovascular therapies, and open surgical arterial reconstructions. Job Description/responsibilities:

• This role is a Monday-to-Friday position and offers a balanced work-life schedule with no on-call duties, evenings, or weekend shifts.
• Responsibilities extend to delivering preoperative education and ensuring thorough postoperative care
• Conduct annual evaluations of established patients, utilizing ultrasound and cross-sectional imaging to provide exceptional follow-up care in an outpatient setting.
• Provide as needed inpatient consultations

Applicants should have the following:

• NYS licensure
• DEA certification
• ACLS/BLS
• Minimum of one year experience in Vascular surgery/OR/proficiency with EVH/ERAH preferred
• Graduation from an accredited PA program
• Board Certification
