Because you’re ready for a full-time life!  A full-time, benefit-eligible schedule with us means 122 shift per year – that leaves you 243 days to enjoy your life outside of work!  As an orthopedic trauma surgeon with our team at Southern Illinois Healthcare Memorial Hospital in Carbondale, IL (100 mi southeast of St. Louis, MO) you will contribute to patient success in the operating room and through clinic follow-ups. You take care of patients; this is how we take care of you! Predictable work schedule, 122 24-hr shifts per year (10-11 per month).  Your full team consists of three full-time experienced physicians and two full-time APPs. No call expectations on days off (when you are scheduled to be on, you’re on, but when you are off, you’re OFF!)
