Summary
This position is located in the Office of Field Operations, Regulatory Operations, Philadelphia District. The district office is responsible for the overall management of an inspection and enforcement program involving meat, poultry, and egg products in several states. The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating a variety of staffing and related functions to ensure proper and adequate coverage of inspection assignments.

Qualifications
Applicants must meet all qualifications and eligibility requirements (including specialized experience and/or education) by the closing date of the announcement, as defined below:
For the GS-7 level: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience (equivalent to the GS-6 level) that demonstrates:
Assisting in researching and interpreting basic regulations and guides.
Assisting in development of staffing reports.
Answering routine inquires from the field and customers on personnel, and management issues.
Personnel management and files / records management experience.
Maintaining, coordinating calendars and events.
Compiling and assembling data, creating and maintaining spreadsheets, personnel, training, leave, staffing or other administrative requirements.
For the GS-09 level: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience (equivalent to the GS-07 level) that demonstrates:
Researching inquiries and providing guidance and advisory services to customers at multiple levels related to staffing.
Maintaining Personnel management and file/records management.
Coordinating training events and providing input or recommendations for training requirements.
Researching and interpreting basic regulations and guides.
Assisting in the development of staffing reports.
Assisting in providing services to customers at multiple levels related to staffing.

Education
Applicants can qualify at the GS-7 level with education:
1 full year of graduate level education.
Superior academic achievement: S.A.A. is based on (1) class standing, (2) grade-point average, or (3) honor society membership.

Master's or equivalent graduate degree
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such degree;
LL.B. or J.D., if related.
