Summary This position is part of the Organization of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The incumbent directly supports the Division Chief through the performance of supervisory and analytical/operational functions to guide and assess tasks and deliverables to develop joint multinational Joint All-Domain C2 data concepts and capabilities and sustain through sunset current joint C2 family of programs. Learn more about this agency Duties As a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (APPSW/DATAMGT) at the GG-2210-15 some of your typical work assignments may include: Performs a broad range of highly complex and controversial qualitative and quantitative analyses of programs, policies, and issues which have major impact on national defense policy in the development of Combined Joint All Domain Command and Control (CJADC2) enterprise wide integration and implementation. Oversees and directly engages in efforts to deliver command and control systems. Develops and recommends United States Military positions for NATO consultation, command and control matters. Develops policy and implements capabilities designed to be interoperable across services with possible matching adoption and coordinated implementation with coalition partner and across all warfighting domains. Qualifications This position is being filled under DoD Modified Direct-Hire Auth (Certain DoD Personnel), PL 118-31, Sec 1250B(i)(2), 12/22/2023 You may qualify at the GG-15, if you fulfill the following qualifications: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GG-14 grade level in the Federal service: Collaborating with Department of Defense (DoD), Interagency, and Multinational stakeholders to identify and resolve Joint Warfighter information sharing and data interoperability requirements using modern information technology solutions and standards, in support of Command and Control (C2) capabilities; Directing or overseeing technical mission-essential interoperability and integration enhancements and improvements; Determining Branch structure and approving work plans and methods to manage personnel and material resources efficiently and economically; Overseeing all development and providing technical vision for the enterprise; Explaining recommendations that have a significant effect upon internal and external programs, policies, and long-range planning affecting the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
